Design of the training program on Green Public Procurement by the World Bank in partnership with Indian training institutions

As part of its capacity building efforts, the World Bank is planning to launch a training course in India on Green Public Procurement (GPP) in partnership with Indian training institutions. The main objective of this training is to improve the understanding, knowledge and skills about green public procurement in India for facilitating increased use of public procurement to achieve climate change goals and efficient utilization of natural resources.
