Global Procurement Summit 2021 (GPS 2021)
After the remarkable achievement of Global Procurement Summit (GPS) 2016 to (GPS) 2020, All India Management Association (AIMA), the apex body of management profession in India, in partnership with Ministry of Finance, Government of India and the World Bank is organizing the 6th Global Procurement Summit 2021 on February 3 - 4, 2021.
The theme of this summit is “Procurement as Enabler for COVID-19 Emergency Response”. In the wake of on-going pandemic, this time the GPS will be organized in virtual mode
Keeping in mind about the theme of the summit Procurement can act as an important enabler in the current crisis. It is important to adjust as quickly as possible. Governments around the world have promised comprehensive economic revival measures. Until such possible support results in reversal of shrinking economies, the companies themselves must safeguard the liquidity of businesses. Procurement can play a crucial role and significantly contribute to this objective.
The Summit is expected to be attended by over 1000 delegates from government organizations, corporates, consultants and regulators from India and abroad. The deliberation will be done by the experts in the area of Procurement from international organizations covering countries like USA, European Union, UK, South Asian countries etc.
