Tauqueer Ahmad brings nearly 21 years of experience in Supply Chain Management including public procurement for humanitarian assistance and public health both from India and globally.

Tauqueer is a specialist with proven track records & expertise in supply chain design, planning and project implementation. Spearheading leadership roles involving supply chain strategy formulation, planning and goal setting at state, regional and international levels. He has dealt with complex business challenges of humanitarian crises and public health involving high-stake decisions using experience-backed judgement, strong work ethics and integrity.

Tauqueer has recently completed a project with Ernst & Yong (EY) in India on electronic Vaccine Intelligence Network (eVIN,) an effective model of health system strengthening funded by GAVI and implemented by UNDP to support the MoHFW in India. The project covered system design, development, implementation, manpower deployment and capacity building of 17,000 staff of MoHFW through 700 comprehensive training programs.

Tauqueer has also implemented various projects for John Snow Inc.in India as a Consultant Supply Chain Specialist to study the supply chain for Family Planning in India and worked on the USAID DELIVER PROEJCT as a Supply Chain Program Manager (Technical Advisor) to strengthen the supply chain for RMNCH+A and HIV/AIDS. The project covered landscape assessment of supply chain in six states, designing of system including standard operating procedures and capacity building of senior management, pharmacist and other staff working in the system/facilities.

Tauqueer has worked as a Head of Logistics for South Asia with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), for India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Maldives and worked internationally at ICRC HQ on supply chain ICT project implementation and provided comprehensive training on logistics and procurement procedures to logistics staff and its internal clients in Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe.

Tauqueer holds a diploma in Mechanical Engineering, degree in Humanities and Social Science, Post Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Master in Logistics Management from ICFAI and Professional Diploma in Public Procurement from the World Bank. Tauqueer has also obtained the Microsoft Certified System Engineering certification from Microsoft, USA
